Every year on exhibition and sale “Formula Handicraft Moscow” are going to more 350 companies, shops, creative workshops, online stores, designers and craftsmen, publishing houses, training centers. Each winter exhibition is visited by more than 15 000 people from Moscow, the Moscow region and from all over Russia, and this is not surprising, because more people are waiting for them 200 brands of Russian and foreign manufacturing companies. From September 28 to October 1, 2017 in Moscow, at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center, the largest event in Russia dedicated to handicrafts and creative hobbies will take place - XVIII international exhibition and sale “Formula Handicraft Moscow. Autumn 2017".

Each time, felt artists organize bright and unusual exhibitions of their works - for example, you will find an exhibition from participants in the “Felt Tournament” from Russia and Ukraine, a whole gallery of birds using the dry felting technique, as well as a fashion show of felt outfits on stage, shows and master classes !

Good news awaits those who love to sew: for the 2nd time, a special project will be presented as part of the Formula Handicraft exhibition “30 years with BURDA in Russia” from the Burda Publishing House, Burda Academy and the Formula Handicraft company. The Burda stand will host non-stop master classes, lectures on sewing and design, consultations on style and fashion trends from BURDA and invited experts! You will also see an exhibition of toy bears based on Burda patterns - winners of the “Bears, in a circle!” competition.

At the Formula Handicraft exhibition you will be able to meet designers who develop patterns, not only Russian, but also foreign. This is not only a food court with delicious and creative cuisine, but also a number of stands where you can buy natural honey, spices, designer sweets, eco-products, as well as utensils and accessories for the kitchen: unusual molds for cookies and gingerbread, knives for carvings, baking dishes - and much more!

Well, after relaxing, it’s time to do some handicrafts! At the creative platform of the Formula Handicraft Club, up to 20 classes are held simultaneously from morning to evening! In total, more than 300 master classes using a variety of techniques, for experienced and beginners, for children and adults. Such classes are a great way to try new techniques without much expense, expand your handicraft horizons, and also keep the children occupied while mom and grandma walk around the exhibition!

And for very young guests of the exhibition there will be organized children playground. There you can play with the animators and also take part in master classes. In addition, in Pavilion No. 4.1 on the lower floor there is a mother and child room. The pavilions also have a cloakroom and an ATM.

For example, we invite embroiderers to take part in the “Native Landscapes” competition - embroidered paintings in any technique on the theme of Russian nature. In addition to the competition works, in the “Recreation Gallery” you can admire the exhibition of quilt panels, united by the theme of space - “Planet Yuri Gagarin”. From the Sokolniki metro station, walk to the central entrance of Sokolniki Park. Walk to the central square with the fountain. Go around the fountain on the right, walk a little straight to the alley with a wooden arch and turn into the 2nd alley on the right (5th radial clearing). Follow it to the end, to a large building with panoramic glazing (pavilion N4). The entire journey from the metro will take 10-12 minutes.
